Professor: International Master of Sport Management
After nine years working in a huge production company in several management jobs, living and working two years abroad in the fast growing East-Asia area, I started my own company in 2000 with an old friend from high school. It was a fabulous period; eight years of enriching entrepreneurship. Growth as a person, turnover and knowledge were the key ingredients.
But sport is my passion… The moment to make my dream come true started late 2008, when I was hired by the Dutch soccer club PSV Eindhoven. I had to lead a change management project at the PSV Youth Academy, the department were 166 young players dedicated their time to become the “next Ruud van Nistelrooy”. The project ended March 2010.
Mid 2008 I started as professor Entrepreneurial Management at the Johan Cruyff Institute, preparing (elite) athletes for a “productive life after their sport career”. As head professor I coordinated the content of the program, keeping focus on the dynamic, practical and innovative aspects of it.
My present and main activity is to manage the “human part” of a fast growing Institute, in which training and education play a key role.
